Sadness permeates the world...

Guy sitting across me on train this morning was a "The Big Issue" seller...
He looked like he tried looking presentable, combed hair, clean shaven but he still look quite unkempt...
I bought a copy off him...
Walked from Flinders St train station into work...
There is a lot of sadness around...
Filthy unwashed guy sleeping on bench, and yesterday there was this really old man on the train home, probably homeless, smelt like manure...
It was so bad a bunch of us changed carriages... then there is this tsunami thing..

And Richard Alston is being rewarded for his (in)competence...
Mannnnn... I feel depressed...

In a world full of people there is usually a bit of random sadness. Some of us carry it off like it's not so much of a bother... but then, well there are those that see...

I used to walk to work and pass a man who slept in a sleeping bag in a doorway... I always said good morning to him and smiled as if this was a usual thing. He yawned and stretched and rubbed his head. He woud smile back. We were part of each other's routine. But... deep down, it was always very sad.
